Fred Parker (born 23 October 1893; date of death unknown) was an English footballer who played as a half-back for Manchester City, Nottingham Forest, and Southport. He helped Forest to win the Second Division title in 1921–22. ==Playing career== Parker played for local non-league sides Seaham Albion and Seaham Harbour, before getting his big break with Manchester City of the Football League in 1914. He featured 18 times in 1916–17 and 1918–19. Later that year he resumed his professional career with Second Division side Nottingham Forest. The club struggled near the foot of the table in 1919–20 and 1920–21, before winning the division in 1921–22. Forest finished one place and four points above the First Division relegation zone in 1922–23, before avoiding the drop only on goal average in 1923–24. Forest were then relegated after finishing in last place in 1924–25. Parker scored seven goals in 157 league games during his time at the City Ground. He spent the 1925–26 season in the Third Division North with Southport, but never made his debut at Haig Avenue.
